Biographical Information

I am a Cognitive Therapist (CBT) and as such my work is goal-orientated and can be short-term if required. The people who come to see me are usually trying to understand and cope with some kind of change in the way they experience the world. My particular areas of interests are anxiety disorders (including Generalized Anxiety; Phobias; OCD; Panic Attacks) and various levels of depression (ranging from a "lowered mood" to more serious episodes). I have also had success working with patients experiencing symptoms of Borderline Personality Disorder as well as individuals who have experienced past trauma. I have been a licensed psychotherapist for the past 11 years. My office hours are flexible (including Saturdays) and I am located at 380 Lafayette Street, close to the 6, B, D, F, V, N, R, J, M, Z, trains a few blocks above Houston Street.
